The Olympics 2012TOP-10 American tennis player John Isner is hoping to have one of the Williams sisters as a partner to play mixed doubles at the Olympic Games 2012 in London. "It's fun to serve as hard as I can against the women", John says with a smile. "If I ever get the chance to play for Olympic gold, I'm not going to take it easy". The Miami Herald
Blake comments Isner's win against Djokovic"It looks easy at 6-10 but he's put a lot of work into the rest of his game", said Blake, a friend of Isner's who trains with him and Fish at Saddlebrook Academy in Tampa. "You don't get to top 10 with just a serve".
"I'm really proud of him. He's still young in tennis years. Novak is playing better than anybody and on a lot of those points, there was nothing he could do. John just played too aggressive, too big". The Miami Herald
John Isner speaks about his height"When I was 15, if someone had told me I would have been this tall, I would have stuck with basketball 100 percent", said Isner, who reached his current height at 22. "I didn't know I was going to keep growing and growing and growing". The New York Times
"Being so big, I would have to be some sort of scary-like, villain-type of person". The Miami Herald
John Isner's goals 2012"I want to have great results all throughout the course of the year, not just in the U.S.", Isner said. "I mean, I certainly am most comfortable in the States, because it's what I'm used to. But going to Europe, I know I'm capable of playing my best tennis no matter where I'm at". The New York Times
"I always believed in myself ... Now that I am inside the top 10, I want to stay and I want to go even higher. I really do believe I have that in me". The Miami Herald
